Gramática da Aula 29: Como Falar sobre Segurança e Prevenção

Conditionals

Vamos revisar!

If + verbo no tempo presente … verbo no tempo futuro com will. “If you run, the fire will burn faster.”
If + verbo no tempo presente … verbo modal + verbo. “If you are in a building that is on fire, you must not use the elevator.”
If + verbo no tempo presente … verbo simples sem sujeito (modo imperativo) “If you smell smoke, call the fire department!”

If + verbo no passado… would + verbo simples. “If I were you, I’d want to learn as much as possible.”
If + verbo no passado… would + present continuous. If people didn’t burn toast, the fire alarm would not be ringing so often.
